Absolute majority of commercial tenant spaces were designed without consideration for sensitive electronic equipment used by medical providers today. RCW – January 2023 NFPA 70B became mandatory for Washington State commercial premises. According to the new law, an electrical maintenance check must be held every three years for any commercial premises. WADOH – in addition to that every health care office must go through an annual electrical maintenance check, if there is specialty equipment in use (for example a dental chair, Xray machine or CT scan). These new laws are going to be enforced through the insurance companies – raising premiums or voiding the contracts.

My facility is big. It has More than 2 panels. Can you handle?
Yes. Request the consultation. After we understand the scope of work you will get the exact price.
I have patients / customers through out the week. Can we schedule for the weekend?
Yes. There is no extra charge for working on weekends and evenings. Fixed rate at all times.
My insurance requires an arch flash study. Can you do it?
Yes. A licensed electrician will count all the equipment on site. Based on that count we will propose a price for the service. When agreed on the price we will dispatch an electrician and an electrical engineer to do an inspection and IR scanning of all the equipment. After that we will create:
A one-line diagram
IR scanning report with recommendations for maintenance
Arch flash study
My panel is too old. Do I have to replace it?
No. Although NFPA 70 e specifies that if the equipment exceeded the manufacturer’s guaranteed service warranty the inspection of the equipment has to happen every 6 months. Add to that the risk of explosion and potential lost profits from unexpected power outage. You may decide that its cheaper to change the panel in the controlled environment before the accident happens.
